The team here at Localytics has been incredibly busy, shipping two updates in the past week, with one more going live today! Let’s take a quick look at all the new goodness:
The most noticeable change has to be our new Welcome Screen, which we are launching later this afternoon. The goal for this screen is to give you a quick summary of your app’s health. At launch, the Welcome Screen will show you a week-over-week comparison for four crucial metrics: Daily Active Users (DAU), new users, churned users, and reactivated users. In a few weeks, we will be adding cards that show metrics for your most recently launched app marketing campaigns.
Once it launches, the Welcome Screen will greet you every time you log into the Localytics Dashboard. During a session, you can get back to the Welcome Screen at any time by clicking on the Localytics logo in the upper left corner of the navigation menu. I should also mention that since this new experience is replacing the old Home Screen, we have added a link to the Query Builder in the footer of the Welcome Screen.
On Thursday, we shipped Explore. This is an addition to True ImpactTM 2.0, our industry-leading campaign reporting tool. With Explore, we are bringing back one of the most popular features of the original True Impact: the ability to change your marketing campaign’s conversion event after the campaign has gone live.
To be more precise, Explore frees you from being limited to only one conversion event. Although you should still set your primary conversion event while building your campaign, Explore gives you the ability to view the conversion rate for any of the other in-app events you track with Localytics, without having to go back and reconfigure the whole campaign. Product Manager Marc Tollin will be publishing an in-depth blog post about Explore on Friday, but until then, head over to the True Impact report for one of your campaigns and check it out.
EDIT: Marc's post is now live and can be found here.
Last but not least, this past Monday we introduced a variety of small tweaks to the look and feel of our Push Notification Builder. From a new layout for the Audience Size Calculator to the redesigned message variant summary cards, we made over a dozen improvements. The end result is a cleaner and more modern interface. We are already in the process of implementing similar changes to the In-App Builder, so be on the lookout for those in a few weeks.
Thanks for signing up. Look for your first email shortly!
We’ll reach out shortly to schedule a time to talk.
