Introducing the 2016 Mobile Engagement Heroes

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming 200 of our customers and partners to Boston's Fenway Park for our 2nd annual Localytics ENGAGE conference. It was a great day of networking, best practice sharing, product discussions and more, and we can't wait to do it again next year. We'll have more recaps to share about the event and the sessions soon, so stay tuned.

During the event, we also introduced the Mobile Engagement Hero awards, a brand new customer awards program that we're very excited about. These awards honor several of our customers who are, for lack of a better term, really crushing it when it comes to mobile engagement. While we've talked at length about the industry being in a "mobile engagement crisis", the good news is that plenty of organizations have not fallen victim to bad engagement. We are proud to call many of those organizations our customers.

We plan to give out these awards every year so there will be lots more to come, but I'm proud to announce the 2016 Mobile Engagement Hero award winners:

  • Dan Baker, Senior Director of Product Management, Comcast
  • Jeremy Cohen, Product Manager, Weather Channel
  • Matthew Duncan, Associate Product Manager, ESPN
  • Matt McElroy, Director of Product Management, Turner
  • Ron Elizondo, Product Manager - Lifestyle, Grindr
  • Ben Jones, Chief Digital Officer, Honest Company
  • Rainer Leeb, Senior Director of Growth, SoundHound
  • Sandrine Mangia Park, VP of Marketing, Runkeeper
  • Meghan Ryan, Director of Digital & Social Marketing, San Francisco 49ers

Congratulations to our 2016 winners. You are true heroes and we can't wait to see the big things you and your teams do in 2017!
