Localytics Takes Home Gold at IBM SmartCamp New York

At SmartCamp NYC, IBM and their judging panel "judge the best start-up company in different cities around the globe," and on Wednesday, they chose Localytics as the best of the New York competitors. Localytics will receive a prize package from IBM and SmartCamp sponsors, and will go on to compete for IBM's Global Entrepreneur of the Year in the SmartCamp World Finals.

Localytics takes home victory at IBM SmartCamp New York

SmartCamp NYC focused this year on data analytics, presenting the industry as incredibly important to the continued evolution of technology and business. Localytics was up against some outstanding, innovative companies: EnvEve, Envirolytics, MediaFunnel and Examville. All of the companies involved in this year's SmartCamp aim to make the world a better, more efficient place by using analytics to create useful, actionable data.

Localytics' efforts to use analytics to better understand mobile device usage was deemed the best by IBM's judges. Our platform allows app publishers to get tremendous perspective into how users are consuming what they've built. Localytics can provide usage patterns across smartphone platforms and across the world, thanks to our support of iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone 7.
